I decided to let him wait until I had a good reason to put him on it. That opportunity came early in December. I believe Bob was a bit surprised to have his hands tied behind his back with the rope extending over a large overhead drainpipe in an unfinished portion our basement, before being secured. I had him bring in an easy chair for me to sit in prior to my having him undress and putting him on the horse, which I then sat down in to wait. We carried on somewhat of a general conversation for the first few minutes, which also proved productive, until he started to squirm, or “ride the horse” like others have experienced, realizing the horse could indeed be very uncomfortable for a male as time and pressure began to build.
It was now time to begin having my “serious” chat with him. I was amazed by what was accomplished in my favor over the next 15-20 minutes or so. Not only did he see me sitting comfortably in the easy chair, but he also came to see “my side of things” far more quickly than in the past. He definitely wanted off, but that did not happen until he agreed to “ride the horse” whenever it was my wish that he did so.
